These cymbidium orchids were painted from life. They grew in my backyard in an old half barrel. The deep blue sets off the light colors of the blossoms and leaves.

Nature is my primary source of inspiration, and color my main mode of expression in realistic, abstract and surreal artwork. I love combining art and science.
